I belong to Planet Fitness of Renton and work out there, at least 4 times a week. 3 of those nights, I meet with my trainer, Jamie for an hour, where is is very mean to me! Just kidding! He helps me so much, encouraging me, guiding me, cheering me and telling me how wonderful my form is! He pushes me almost past my limit, but I manage to complete everything he asks me to. He has me do planks until I think I'm done. Then, he tells me, "Without putting your knees down, rise up from your elbows to your hands." I thought he was crazy, the first time he told me to do this. Then, I tried it, after whining that it might be too hard. I wobbled a bit, but I did it! I can do ANYTHING that I think I can! I am becoming the "Squat" Queen too, he has me do so many. My legs are still sore today, two days after "Leg Day", but damn, is my ass firm! Hahaha We like singing while working out! When I can breathe, that is!

In addition to visiting the gym, I have 6 gym machines at home, including a Rowing Machine, which the gym does not have. I have Stair Climber, Recumbent Bike, an Elliptical among others. I also have a heavy bag, various weights, kettle bells, stability balls, resistance bands, work out videos and more. There is not much chance of me not finding a place to exercise, unless I wake up lazy one day!
Eating healthy has helped me so much too! I stopped eating junk a little over a year ago, on February 24, 2012. I stopped eating red meat too, I only eat turkey breast. I rarely have to settle for chicken breast, if I'm eating out. I stopped eating all high glycemic white carbs, like Sugar, Rice, Pasta, Potatoes, Flour, etc. I do not eat processed foods, if I have any control over it. I drink loads of water, at least 8 glasses a day. I drink Peppermint tea too, not that it does anything miraculous, it is just super yummy! Vegetables and fruits are my friends. Good thing I always loved them anyway.

One thing that has helped me so much is MFP. If you are attempting to lose weight, the one thing that you can do to help yourself succeed, is keep track of what you eat. It is so simple to take a few minutes each day and add the things you eat. Just don't fudge on numbers, make sure to get as accurate calorie count as you can. MFP has many tools to help you!
